Leaving Fes in the morning, we will go through Ifrane city, the Switzerland of Morocco. Not too far from Ifrane, we have another stop in the Cedar forest of Azrou, where the Barbary apes live. This forest is a sporting place to photograph wildness in Morocco.
We will stop for lunch in Midelt, located in the high plains between the Middle Atlas and the High Mountains. Midelt is one of Morocco's principal cities that contains several minerals. After that, we will return on the road through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the natural scenery of rivers, mountains, valleys, and fields.
Crossing a short tunnel will drop us in Errachidia, where the Ziz Valley of Tafilalet starts. Here, we will stop to take photos of the panoramic view of that valley. Arrive at Merzouga Sahara Desert. Welcomed and hosted by a mint tea as a Berber traditional way of hospitality.
During this 10-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech, you will ride the camels through the Sand dunes on an unforgettable experience. Once in the camp, you will enjoy many activities such as sandboarding and relish the fascinating sunset. Have a delicious dinner in a Berber tent, and listen to drums music. Watch the shining stars in the sparkling sky. Finally, you will spend the night in a well-equipped camp.
