4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech in the morning. Your 4-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will start towards Dades Valley and pass over the Tizi N'Tichka at 2260 m above sea level within the High Atlas Mountains. 

We'll enjoy the beautiful road in the mountains. Admire beautiful sights of various colors. Pass through numerous Berber villages towards Ouarzazate to explore Taourirt Kasbah. This latter is Morocco's most impressive ksars. Visit the Oscar Atlas Film Studios, where we'll have lunch.

Traverse the vast Skoura palm grove. Apart from that, it's a magnificent place to contemplate the landscape and several kasbahs built in this surrounding land. The Roses Valley is the next destination to visit. Roses are grown for cosmetic goals, like the valuable rosewater. The Roses Festival takes place yearly in May. The 4-day Sahara Desert tour from Marrakech continues to Dades Valley, where we'll stay the night at a hotel with a view of the Valley.

After breakfast at the hotel, our 4 Days tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert departs for Todra Gorges. Pass through the Berber villages along the way via Tinghir. Stop to enjoy the wonderful Todra Valley, full of palm trees.

Arrive at Todra Gorges, which is nowadays one of Morocco's most widely known mountaineering destinations. We'll have a brief walk through its grey and high canyons. Those canyons can reach more than 300 m. Drive to Tinejdad and Touroug for lunch. Continue to Erfoud, where we'll see the beginning Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.

Continue the 4-day Sahara Desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga and the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, from which you can take a camel ride. During this trek, you'll stop to admire the beautiful sunset. Try sandboarding if that interests you. Take photos, and enjoy the landscape.

After the sun is down, you will continue to the camp. When you reach the campsite, you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and have a traditional dinner. Enjoy a music party and dance around the fire. Sleep in a nomadic tent under the stars and feel the most exceptional calm.

By the following day, you will enjoy a memorable sunrise and bask in this natural wonder. You'll have breakfast and take a hot shower at camp. Return by camel or 4WD to the village, where you'll join your driver.

Travel to Ouarzazate via Rissani to see its traditional market if we are fortunate enough to be there at one of the market's times (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday). Following that, we'll pass the arid pre-desert area. We'll see the acacia trees along the way, unique to this scenery.

On our way to Draa Valley, we'll take some time to explore the incredible views. This Valley is Morocco's longest river. 4 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga proceeds via the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate. Arrive in the afternoon/evening, have dinner, and spend the night in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast at your hotel, we will head to Ait Ben Haddou, a prominent kasbah (fortified village) recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Numerous movies have been filmed in this magnificent location, including Gladiator, The Mummy, Queen of the Desert, and many others.

The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is a notable example of the architecture of southern Morocco. Besides, this site was one of the many trading posts on the commercial route linking ancient Sudan to Marrakech by the Draa Valley and Tizi n’Telouet. 

Travel via Tizi N'Tichka. Stop along the way to enjoy the fantastic views of the Mountains and appreciate the authentic Berber communities.
