7 Days Tour From Tangier to Marrakech

Around 8:00 a.m., Epic Morocco Travel driver/guide will pick you up from the port/hotel. Our 7 Days Tangier to Marrakech begins towards Asilah and includes a stop at the Hercules caves in Tangier's Atlantic Ocean.

Then we'll travel to Asilah, where we'll have free time to discover breathtaking views and ancient architecture of its medina. Our journey continues to Rabat, where we will spend the night in a riad in Morocco's capital city.

On the second day of our One Week tour from Tangier, we will discover Rabat city highlights. We'll visit the Royal Palace and the Mausoleums of Mohammad V and Hassan II, two rulers who worked closely with the Jewish community.

Then, proceed to Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains. In the afternoon, we'll get to Chefchaouen. You will have free time to explore this lovely town. Stay overnight in your riad while admiring the Rif Mountains.

Today, you will discover Morocco's cultural and spiritual center during this full-day trip to Fes. Fes, also known as Fes el Bali, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was founded in the nineteenth century and is the home of the world's oldest university.

The city of Fes reached its true economic and cultural zenith under the Merinids in the 13-14 centuries when it supplanted Marrakech as the kingdom's capital. Although the political capital of Morocco turned to Rabat in 1912, Fes has kept its status as the country's artistic center.

Artisan workshops in the medina are as alive and active as they were 100 years ago. Besides, they contribute significantly to the city's industrial economy. Nowadays, Blacksmithing, leatherworking, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops.

We begin our One Week tour from Tangier on this day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then you'll drive to Quaraouin University, a scientific facility and a tourist attraction in Fes. Head to the Jewish quarter, referred to as The Mellah.

After touring the Jewish quarter, we will visit the Chouara leather tanneries, the largest in Fes. Our guide will direct you to the exquisite tourist attractions in Fes. Lastly, you'll spend the night at the riad.

The fifth day of our One Week tour from Tangier starts with breakfast at your hotel or riad. Continue to the thrilling Merzouga Sahara Desert. We'll be traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first visit will be to Ifrane, known as Morocco's Switzerland. Here, you can take in the city's stunning views and forest.
