Itinerary: 8 Days tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert

The first day of your perfect 8-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga starts with a pick-up from Marrakech's airport. We will meet at the airport and head to your riad/hotel.

In case you arrive early in Marrakech, you will go with a local city guide who will show you the finest Marrakech sights, including the Menara, Koutoubia Mosque, and Majorelle Garden.

The second day of this 8 Days Desert tour from Marrakech starts with having breakfast. Heading out to explore this wonderful city. Marrakech derives its name from the Amazigh Language (Berber) Mur Akuch, which means "Land of God." It is also known as the "Red City" due to the numerous buildings built of red sandstone.

Before reaching Fes, we will go through Cedar Forest to Ifrane. This city is known as the little Switzerland, where we will catch a stone statue of a lion and other attractive sceneries. Finally, we’ll spend the night in Fes.

Fes is one of Morocco's most touristic attractions, rich in culture, architecture, and historical sites. It is Morocco's spiritual and cultural capital. Besides, it is a diverse city populated by Berbers, Arabs, Jews, French, and others. As a result, we will visit the most impressive milestones in Fes on the seventh day of our Epic 8 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
