6 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga

On the first day of our 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will meet you at the airport and transport you to your hotel.

If you arrive early at Marrakech, we will take you to lovely places, such as the Jamaa El-Fna square. This latter becomes more beautiful at night. You will spend your first night at your accommodation.

Marrakech, Morocco's city of light or the city that never sleeps, is one of the most famous. This city offers its visitors beautiful sceneries that will impress them. We dedicate a whole day to discovering the main interests of this city.

On this Second day of our 6 Days tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert, we will take you around Marrakech by a tour guide. We begin by the Majorelle Garden, one of Morocco's best and most lovely gardens. The origins of this location can be traced back to 1923 when a French orientalist artist arrived in Morocco and settled. As a result, this location has a distinctly French flavor.

Then, we will visit Menara Garden, another beautiful garden in the city. This latter is situated west of Marrakech and is close to the High Atlas Mountains. It provides charming views for both tourists and city residents who frequent it. 

Our 6 Days Sahara Desert tour from Marrakech will take you to the Bahia Palace, one of the pretty monuments displaying magnificent Moroccan architecture. Following that, we will move to a variety of locations. Finally, you will visit Jamaa El Fna's beautiful square.

We will travel toward Boumalne Dades on the third day of our 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. First and foremost, we will pass through the High Atlas Mountains. The road we will take is the Tizi N'Tichka Pass. Besides, it is approximately 200 kilometers long and curved. Along this pass live many Berber tribes whose source of income is from tourists, Argan oil, or having a large herd.

Our trip  will take us to some cooperatives to see the traditional methods of cosmetic products. These areas are famous for producing Argan oil. After that, we'll continue our 6-day tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N'Tichka pass.

Stop by the magnificent fortress of Ait Ben Haddou. You will walk via the Oued El Maleh river to reach the Kasbah. This village exemplifies authentic Moroccan clay architecture and was a UNESCO site in 1987.

Travel to the lovely city of Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco. This latter is one of the most important cities in the southeast, with an international airport and the world's largest solar energy station.

Ouarzazate is known for being an ideal location for filming movies and television series. This city is home to two of Morocco's studios for filming and renting equipment. Finally, we head to Boumalne Dades, where we'll spend the night.

Today, after breakfast, we will continue our 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Firstly, we'll start with a short drive to Todra Gorges, known as Toudgha Canyons. We'll stop here for a while to walk through the canyons. With 300m-high canyons and a river running between them, this area gives some of the most beautiful views.

Secondly, we will depart for the Sahara Desert. Pass through many lovely Berber villages and the cities of Tinghir and Tinjedad along the way. Ultimately, we will arrive at our final destination for the day, the Merzouga Sahara Desert. The magnificent golden dunes of the desert and camel ride are one of the standouts of our 6-day Sahara Desert tour from Marrakech.

Once we arrive at Merzouga, the camels and camel man will be waiting to make your desert journey memorable. You will ride the camels across the dunes. Stop along the way to take pictures of camels encircled by the desert.

We'll be at the desert camp in a few minutes. We usually arrive early in the evening to tour around and explore it. Most visitors climb the dunes to see the lovely sunset. You can also try sandboarding if that is an activity that interests you.

When night falls, you enjoy a traditional meal, and at the same time, our camp staff will practice drumming and entertain you. After dinner, you can go outside under the stars to listen to Berber music around the campfire.

The fifth day of our 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will be exciting. We're going to spend it all on exploring the desert. First, you can get up early to see the sunrise and have breakfast. After breakfast in the camp, you will ride camels or drive a 4x4 car through the desert. Most people choose the car because it enables them to visit more areas. However, if you want to tour with camels, we can provide that.

To start, you will go to the Berber Nomads still living in tents, and we will learn about their lifestyle and traditions. The Majority of Nomads are 7 to 10 members and live on what nature provides. Their prime source of income is herding goats and sheep and selling them in nearby cities such as Rissani and Erfoud. The main thing that distinguishes these people is their hospitality and generosity.

After a peaceful stay with nomads, we will depart for one of Merzouga's best panoramic views of the desert, Galb El Nas, which translates to "people's heart" in English. Later, we will move to a well-known kohl mine in the area. It was once a French possession, and they used to export its outcomes back to France.

Finally, you will visit the Gnawa people, famous for having a Gnaoua house in the center of Khamliya village. Get some time here learning about their way of life. You will have the chance to listen to their music and watch their unique moves. Dinner and spend overnight in a hotel or riad.

After breakfast in a luxury tent on the last day of this 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, you will ride camels back to Merzouga. We'll have to leave early in the morning because we're returning to Marrakech. We'll take a different path.

Pass through Alnif and stop for lunch in Nkoub. Drive straight to Marrakech via the Ait-Saouen pass. Finally, we will drop you in Marrakech, and our 6 Days tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert ends.
