11 Days Tour From Casablanca

This 11-day desert tour will start in Casablanca by picking you up from your hotel or airport. Casablanca is the economic center and the largest one in Morocco.

First and foremost, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and the world's seventh largest. This Mosque is situated on the west coast of Casablanca and stands above the Atlantic Ocean. Have a meal. Explore the city, including a stop at Casablanca's famed Cornish. We will drive you to the hotel where you will spend your first night in Morocco in the evening.

On the second day of our 11 Days tour from Casablanca to the Sahara Desert, we will drive to Chefchaouen via Rabat. This latter is the country's capital and one of Morocco's imperial cities. Then, explore the city's highlights, such as the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V's Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. Have a traditional lunch.

In the afternoon, we travel north through Ouazzane to the blue city of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. The white-blue houses and lanes of this city are well-known. We'll spend the night in a hotel in this charming blue city.

After breakfast, you will relish the lovely alleyways of Chefchaouen. Then, we'll travel to Volubilis, Morocco's most famous heritage site, to explore the historic Berber-Roman remains. There are beautiful mosaics throughout the area, antique pillars, and alleys.

After touring the ruins, we'll continue the 11 days tour from Casablanca to Meknes. This city is the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco's imperial cities. We'll visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. We'll then head to Fes and spend the night in a riad.

You will explore Fes with a local guide on the fourth day of our 11-day tour from Casablanca to the Sahara Desert. Fes, the imperial city with the world's oldest university, dates from the 9th century and is one of the world's most complete medieval cities. Fes appears frozen in time, somewhere between the Middle Ages and the present, and enclosed by giant walls. 

You'll have a terrific time walking through its narrow alleys and passing through its large ancient gates. We begin the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then, head to Quaraouin, the world's oldest mosque and university. Later, you'll explore the Jewish quarter, often known as The Mellah.

After exploring the Jewish quarter, we will visit the Chouara leather tanneries, the largest in Fes. Our guide will take you to the most fascinating sights. Ultimately, you'll spend the night at the riad. 

We will depart after a hearty breakfast on the fifth day of this 11 Days tour from Casablanca to the Sahara Desert. We will make numerous stops between Fes and Merzouga to visit some beautiful spots, notably Azrou, Midelt, Ziz Valley, and the Merzouga Desert.

Wake up early in the morning to watch the breathtaking sunrise in the middle of the desert, and then try sandboarding near the camp. The 11 days tour from Casablanca will take us to learn about another style of life: Berber nomads. They still live in desert Berber tents. We'll spend time in their tents getting to know their way of life. The nomads make a living by herding goats and sheep, which they sell in adjacent areas such as Rissani and Erfoud. Their most notable characteristics are their friendliness and charity.

Following a relaxing visit with nomads, we will travel to "Galb El Nas," one of Merzouga's most spectacular desert views. In English, it means "people's heart." We'll also visit Mifiss to see their kohl mine. This latter, previously, was administered by the French. We'll take multiple scenic breaks to take in the varied sights of the Sahara Desert. At last, we'll spend the night in a hotel.

The next day of Our 11 Days tour from Casablanca will start in Merzouga and end in Boumalne Dades. We'll leave the vast desert and head to Rissani, Tafilalet's ancient capital. Rissani is a vital economic center in the region, with the largest souk active three days a week. We'll drive through Rissani and head to Erfoud to visit one of the fossilized marble workshops.

We will meet in the hotel park after breakfast on the eighth day of our 11 Days tour from Casablanca. Today's journey will take you from Boumalne to Marrakech, passing via several beautiful locations along the route. In Kalaa Magouna, we'll visit the Rose Valley. A Rose Festival is celebrated each year in May, during which the residents offer rose-related products such as perfumes, rose water, oil, and beauty cosmetics.

We next drive to Ouarzazate through Skoura's palm orchards. We'll go to the Studios, where many prominent films are made. Then we head to Ait Ben Haddou's famed Kasbah. This fortified settlement is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has also emerged in films such as Gladiator, Queen of the Desert, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones.

Travel to Marrakech over the Tizi N'Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Have lunch and stops at intriguing locations. When we arrive in Marrakech, we will take you to your riad, where you'll spend the night.

Marrakech, the city that never sleeps, is one of, if not the most popular. This red city offers visitors stunning sights that will leave them speechless. Spend the entire day exploring the major attractions of Marrakech. Because Marrakech is the fourth-largest city in Morocco, you will need a guide to tour the city. On the ninth day of our 11-day trip from Casablanca to the Sahara Desert, you will join a tour guide to explore Marrakech.

We will start the tour by visiting the Majorelle Garden, one of the best and most beautiful gardens. This location traced back to 1923 when a French artist arrived in Morocco and settled. As a result, this spot has a decidedly French vibe. Following that, we go to Menara Garden, another lovely garden in the city. This latter is west of Marrakech, close to the High Atlas Mountains. The Menara Garden offers picturesque views to both tourists and city dwellers who visit it.

 We'll lead you to the Bahia Palace, one of the beautiful monuments displaying majestic Moroccan architecture. We will later move to a variety of sites. Eventually, you will visit the lovely Jemaa El Fna square.

We'll leave Marrakech after breakfast and head west to Essaouira. We will stop along the way to see the Argan trees, where we will see many goats climbing the trees to eat the Argan nuts and leaves. It's a fantastic experience and a must-see if you want to photograph it. We may also go to an Argan oil women's cooperative to learn about the uses and benefits of the oil. Argan oil has cosmetic and medicinal applications.

Continue our 11 Days tour from Casablanca to Essaouira, originally Mogador, one of Morocco's most important coastal cities. The city is well-known for its variety of seafood, beautiful beach, and surfing sport. We'll go to the fishing port and see the ancient ramparts with cannons that were used to protect the waterfront from past attacks. We will also visit the old Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lastly, head to your hotel and stay in Essaouira for the night.
