6 Days Tour From Tangier To Marrakech

The first day of our 6-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech starts in Tangier, one of the most beautiful cities in northern Morocco. Pick you up at the airport or your accommodation.

Drive you around Tangier to show you how gorgeous its buildings are and how beautiful the colors of the houses are. We'll arrive in Chefchaouen by nightfall to spend our first night in the city known as the Blue Pearl because its streets and houses are all painted blue.

After a delicious breakfast in the riad, our 6-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech proceeds to Volubilis, passing via Ouazzane and other Rif villages. We will visit the Roman ruins in Volubilis and discover Moroccan history.

Then, we will drive to Meknes (a 17th-century heritage city) for lunch. We'll explore the best sights that this city has to offer. Today, you will discover Morocco's cultural and spiritual center during this full-day trip to Fes. Fes, also known as Fes el Bali, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, founded in the nineteenth century, and is the habitat of the world's oldest university.

The city of Fes reached its true economic and cultural zenith under the Merinids in the 13-14 centuries when it supplanted Marrakech as the kingdom's capital. Although the political capital of Morocco shifted to Rabat in 1912, Fes has kept its status as the country's artistic center.

Artisan workshops in the medina are as alive and active as they were 100 years ago and significantly contribute to the city's industrial economy. Today, blacksmithing, leatherworking, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops.

We begin the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then you'll move to Quaraouin University, a scientific establishment and a tourist attraction in Fes. Head to the Jewish quarter, referred to as "The Mellah."

After touring the Jewish quarter, we will visit the Chouara leather tanneries, the largest in Fes. Our guide will lead you to the captivating tourist attractions in Fes. You'll spend the night at the riad lastly.

The fourth day of our 6-day desert tour itinerary from Tangier starts with breakfast at your hotel or riad. Continue our trip to the thrilling Merzouga Sahara Desert. We'll be traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Our first visit will be to Ifrane, known as Morocco's Switzerland. Here, you can take in the city's incredible views and forest. We'll stop in Azrou later to see the monkeys in the Cedar forest and snap photos with monkeys.

Our epic 6 Days tour from Tangier to Marrakech proceeds to Midelt, and we'll stop to have lunch in a local restaurant (Optional). Following that, we will drive to the Merzouga Desert, traversing through Tizi n'Talghamt to reach Errachidia while glorifying the views of the Ziz Gorges.

Furthermore, we will have free time to take pictures and capture iconic moments in Ziz Valley's panoramic views. You will proceed to the camp, where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and unwind until dinner. After dinner, you will appreciate traditional Berber drumming music, the starry sky, shooting stars, and a campfire. Have the chance to exchange cultures and histories with nomads. Lastly, spend the night in a private nomadic desert tent.

On the last day of our 6-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we will visit the renowned Taourirt Kasbah. After 27 kilometers, we will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This latter has served as a backdrop for many Hollywood films, for instance, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and many others.
